Tempest Casement/Pivot windows are designed and fabricated to provide the ultimate in thermal and acoustic performance yet have the narrowest sightline of any thermally improved, high performance rated aluminum window.
Tempest Casement/Pivot window’s unique pressure compensating gasket system makes this window more water resistant and more acoustically and thermally efficient that any other pivot window with a comparable sightline.
Tempest Casement/Pivot window’s require little maintenance because they have few moving parts to service or replace. The sash profiles are structurally bonded to the insulated glass unit so that the sash can never become “out-of-square
Tempest Casement/Pivot windows are available with multiple individually operated sash locks or a “European Style” multi-point locking system. Operating sash swing into the room for both ventilation and cleaning.
Tempest Casement/Pivot windows may be furnished with both surface mounted and “between-the-glass” style muntin grids utilizing both regular and laminated insulated glass.
Tempest Casement/pivot windows are versatile in their configurations. One master frame may be segmented into many parts giving each section a narrow sightline and the option of being glazed with fixed glass or an in swinging sash. Mullion sightlines joining two operable windows are only 4” wide, including all gasket
